The Joliet Central Steelmen volleyball team (Joliet, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL)

The Spartans (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons enter the non-league challenge with a 6-16 record. In their last challenge, Elgin was dropped by Proviso East (Maywood, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Steelmen meet the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prarie bout, on Tuesday, May 2. Joliet Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).
