The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) and the host Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT), saw Shelton's volleyball squad beat Kolbe-Cathedral by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Shelton upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Gaels host Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT) to play the Spartans in a South-West bout on Friday, April 28. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Amity Regional won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Rockville (Vernon, CT)

The Cougars now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Oxford for a South-West bout on Friday, April 28. Kolbe-Cathedral will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.
