In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Cushing Academy Penguins lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Pomfret School Griffins.

The Penguins now have a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Griffins face the Kent School Lions (Kent, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 29. Pomfret School will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 15-4 league loss to Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT).
