April 26, 2023: Portland, TN 37148 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the University School of Nashville Tigers (Nashville, TN) and the host Portland Panthers (Portland, TN), saw University School of Nashville's soccer squad triumph over Portland by a count of 6-0.
The Tigers now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Christian Academy for a D II-A Middle 3 test on Friday, April 28. University School of Nashville will meet a LIONS squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Franklin, TN). The LIONS record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Portland drops to 5-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Gallatin (Gallatin, TN) to meet the Green Wave in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 2-7.
