Maryland High School Softball - La Plata bounces St. Charles
April 26, 2023: Waldorf, MD 20602 La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 8-0 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 28. La Plata will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 22-6 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, St. Charles falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 28. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 14-1. Calvert won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Patuxent (Lusby, MD)
