Delaware High School Baseball - Polytech holds off Wilmington Charter
April 26, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19807 Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wilmington Charter Force (Wilmington, DE), 12-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Polytech upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to DuPont (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, April 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-8. DuPont lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Newark (Newark, DE)
With the defeat, Wilmington Charter falls to 3-7 on the season. The Force host St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Vikings in a Diamond State test on Tuesday, April 30. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-9. St. Elizabeth lost 14-5 in their recent non-league test against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE)
