April 26, 2024: Asheboro, NC 27203 Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Comets face the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 29. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 6-2 non-league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC).
The Golden Eagles now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Davidson for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. East Davidson will face a Wildcats team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
