In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting First Flight Nighthawks soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Catholic Crusaders.

The Nighthawks (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces come into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Holmes nudged Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 10-1, in a non-league battle.
