Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA), 6-2 in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockingham for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 30.

In their next game, the Blue Storm clash with the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Mercersburg Academy will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV).
