April 26, 2024: Hendersonville, TN 37075 Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN), 4-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights face the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats (Nashville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 30. Pope John Paul II will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN).
The Eagles now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Road Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Brentwood Academy will face a Panthers team coming off a 9-0 league win over Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
