Maine High School Softball - Bonny Eagle bounces Sanford
April 26, 2024: Sanford, ME 04073 Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Scots now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kennebunk for a Class A South challenge on Monday, April 29. Bonny Eagle will face a Rams squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Rams record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Sanford falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Noble (North Berwick, ME) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Noble lost 29-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME)
