Maine High School Softball - Winthrop loses to Dirigo
April 26, 2024: Dixfield, ME 04224 The Dirigo Cougars softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Winthrop Ramblers to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Dirigo moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class C South game on Monday, April 29. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-1. Hall-Dale lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Mount Abram (Strong, ME)
In their next game, the Ramblers clash with the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) in a Class C South game, on Friday, May 3. Winthrop will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
