New Jersey High School Softball - Hightstown bounces New Egypt
April 26, 2024: New Egypt, NJ 08533 The Hightstown Rams routed the host New Egypt Warriors softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, St. Thomas Aquinas held off South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 7-1, in a league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Florence Township Memorial for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. New Egypt will confront a Flashes squad coming off a 17-10 league win over Doane Academy (Burlington, NJ). The Flashes record now stands at 5-2.
