Kentucky High School Softball - Magoffin County bounces Morgan County
April 26, 2024: West Liberty, KY 41472 The Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) softball routed the host Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), 14-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats go into the non-league bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Blazer was routed by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 9-7, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Fairview for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 27. Morgan County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Glenwood (New Boston, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 12-8.
