April 26, 2024: Annandale, NJ 08801 North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Westfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. North Hunterdon will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Pope John XXIII falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The travel to Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to face the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Marauders enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Mount Olive lost 9-5 in their recent league challenge against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ)
