April 26, 2025: Mineral Point, WI 53565 The Mineral Point Pointers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Algoma Wolves to 7 in the Pointers non-league win on Saturday.
The Pointers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Dodgeville for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Mineral Point will clash with a Dodgers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Dodgers record now stands at 9-1.
With the defeat, Algoma drops to 2-6 on the year. The Wolves travel to Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI) to clash with the Clippers in a Packerland test on Tuesday, April 29. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 4-5. Sturgeon Bay won 10-0 in their recent league test against Peshtigo (Peshtigo, WI)
