Virginia High School Baseball - Benedictine wallops Norfolk Academy
April 26, 2025: Norfolk, VA 23502 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) and the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), saw Benedictine's baseball team gain a win over Norfolk Academy by a tally of 15-5.
The Cadets (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks enter the VISAA Virginia Independent battle with a 24-5 record. In their last battle, Miller School of Albemarle prevailed over Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA), 10-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a Tidewater Independent battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Norfolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Mighty Oaks enter the battle with a 1-11 record after their 20-0 league loss to Steward (Richmond, VA).
