April 26, 2025: Overland Park, KS 66062 Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS), 8-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Blue Valley Southwest advances its record to 11-3 on the season. The Timberwolves host St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS) to battle the Thunder in a Eastern Kansas match on Tuesday, April 29. The Thunder come into the match with a record of 5-10. St. James Academy lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO)
The Thunderbirds now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piper for a United Kansas Conference match on Tuesday, April 29. Shawnee Heights will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hays (Hays, KS). The Pirates record now stands at 8-6.
