In Saturday's non-league game, the host Covenant Christian Chargers baseball team scored a nice 20-3 win over the Hastings Saxons.

The Chargers (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Hopkins knocked off Allendale (Allendale, MI), 5-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Saxons play the Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Interstate 8 game, on Tuesday, April 29. Hastings will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Beavers go into the game with a 8-3 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI).
