In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) baseball team routed the visiting Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA), by a count of 12-2.

The Fighting Zebras now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host Wheatland for a Pioneer Valley League test on Tuesday, April 29. Lincoln will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 5-5 league Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 14-7.

With the defeat, Valley Christian drops to 9-3 on the year. The Lions host Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League test on Monday, April 28. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 10-6. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy lost 18-16 in their recent league test against Foresthill (Foresthill, CA)
