New York High School Lacrosse - Greeley can't hold off John Jay
April 26, 2025: Cross River, NY 10536 John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY), 14-13 in a non-league game.
With the victory, John Jay advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY) to play the Sailors in a Section I -C game on Thursday, May 1. The Sailors come into the game with a record of 3-6. Hendrick Hudson lost 22-13 in their recent league game against Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY)
The Quakers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hendrick Hudson for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3.
