April 26, 2025: Schaumburg, IL 60194 The Latin Romans lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the host Schaumburg Saxons to 4 in the Romans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Romans now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lane Tech for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. Latin will clash with a Champions squad coming off a 16-8 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Champions record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Schaumburg falls to 6-7 on the year. The Saxons host Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to clash with the Bison in a Mid Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Buffalo Grove won 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL)
