Michigan High School Soccer - Portage Central knocks off Troy
April 26, 2025: Portage, MI 49002 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) and the visiting Troy Colts (Troy, MI), saw Portage Central's soccer squad knock off Troy by a count of 5-2.
The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Blue Devils enter the Southwestern Michigan - East battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Gull Lake tipped Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Colts confront the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) in a Oakland - Red battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Goodrich (Goodrich, MI).
