Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hazleton Area sneaks past Parkland
April 26, 2025: Hazleton, PA 18202 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) and the visiting Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA), saw Hazleton Area's baseball team get by Parkland by a tally of 3-2.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Wyoming Valley West held off Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 15-9, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans face the Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 1-11 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA).
