April 26, 2025: Grand Rapids, MI 49504 The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host West Catholic Falcons to 7 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.
The Pirates now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harper Creek for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Pewamo-Westphalia will play a Beavers team coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, West Catholic drops to 3-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-0.
