South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA), 15-8 in a non-league game.

With the victory, South Fayette advances its record to 13-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to play the Panthers in a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 7-6. Franklin Regional lost 15-9 in their recent league game against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA)

The Big Macs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a WPIAL 3A 1 game on Tuesday, April 29. Canon-McMillan will play a Vikings team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.
