Maryland High School Lacrosse - Wootton drops to Richard Montgomery
April 26, 2025: Rockville, MD 20852 Richard Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD), 14-3 in a league game.
With the victory, Richard Montgomery advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Rockets travel to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to play the Wildcats in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game on Wednesday, April 30. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-6. Walter Johnson lost 16-7 in their recent league game against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Patriots now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockville for a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game on Tuesday, April 29. Wootton will play a Rams team coming off a 17-6 league loss to Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Rams record now stands at 6-5.
