The Delta Eagles triumphed over the visiting Covenant Christian Warriors softball squad by a count of 16-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage challenge, on Monday, April 28. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Marauders enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN).

The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard edged Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN), 19-2, in a non-league challenge.
