With the triumph, Mapleton improves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Mounties travel to Crestview (Ashland, OH) to face the Cougars in a Firelands contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 13-2. Crestview won 9-1 in their recent league contest against New London (New London, OH)
The Pioneers now hold a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Midview for a Southwestern contest on Monday, April 28. Elyria will face a Middies squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Middies record now stands at 4-9.
