Minnesota High School Softball - Maple River bounces Madelia
April 26, 2025: Mapleton, MN 56065 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the visiting Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN), observed Maple River's softball team prevail over Madelia by a tally of 14-1.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers go into the South Central bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was routed by Hayfield (Hayfield, MN), 18-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes (Okabena, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Madelia will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record.
