Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Danbury drops to Staples
April 27, 2021: Westport, CT 06880 Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 23-4 in a league test.
The Wreckers now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wilton for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 28. Staples will face a Warriors squad coming off a 19-5 non-league win over Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
In their next game, the Hatters face the Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County-West test, on Thursday, April 29. Danbury will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 16-3 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
