North Carolina High School Baseball - Atkins defeats Bishop McGuinness
April 27, 2022: Kernersville, NC 27284 Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), 18-11 in a non-league test.
With the win, Atkins upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Camels travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to battle the Bison in a Mid-State 3A test on Friday, April 29. The Bison come into the test with a record of 10-9. High Point Central lost 9-5 in their recent league test against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)
With the defeat, Bishop McGuinness falls to 13-4 on the season. The Villains travel to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A test on Friday, April 29. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 9-7. Leadership Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)
