In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), by a margin of 12-3.

With the win, Damonte Ranch betters its record to 12-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Reno (Reno, NV) to encounter the Huskies in a 5A North challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 23-2. Reno won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Reed (Sparks, NV)

With the defeat, Nevada Union falls to 13-12 on the season. The Miners travel to Placer (Auburn, CA) to encounter the Hillmen in a Foothill Valley League challenge on Monday, May 2. The Hillmen come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Placer won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA)
