Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA), saw Covenant's baseball squad knock off Eastern Mennonite by a count of 15-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Carlisle Chiefs (Martinsville, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent battle, on Friday, April 29. Covenant will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC).
