Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 6-0 in a league test.

With the win, Pontiac upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Indians host Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to battle the Hawks in a Illini Prairie test on Thursday, April 28. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 7-12. Prairie Central won 14-11 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Champaign, IL)

Next, the Grey Ghosts face the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) in a Illini Prairie bout, on Friday, April 29.
