Indiana High School Baseball - Peru gets by Tippecanoe Valley

Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN), 5-3 in a league test.

With the win, Peru upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers host Eastern (Greentown, IN) to battle the Comets in a non-league test on Friday, April 29. The Comets come into the test with a record of 12-0. Eastern won 11-1 in their recent league test against Rossville (Rossville, IN)

With the defeat, Tippecanoe Valley falls to 2-5 on the season. The Vikings host North Miami (Denver, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Three Rivers test on Monday, May 2. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-2.
