Maryland High School Lacrosse - South River can't get by Huntingtown
April 27, 2022: Edgewater, MD 21037 In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the South River Seahawks.
The Hurricanes now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern for a Southern Maryland test on Monday, May 2. Huntingtown will face a Patriots squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 5-2.
In their next game, the Seahawks face the Crofton (Gambrills, MD) in a test, on Friday, April 29. South River will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 13-7 non-league loss to Kent Island (Stevensville, MD).
