California High School Lacrosse - University City held off by Point Loma
April 27, 2022: San Diego, CA 92122 Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 8-7 in a non-league battle.
The Pointers now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Bay for a Eastern battle on Monday, May 2. Point Loma will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 16-6 league loss to San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-8.
In their next game, the Centurions clash with the Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA) in a Eastern battle, on Monday, May 2. University City will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record.
