Connecticut High School Softball - Southington bounces Cheshire
April 27, 2022: Cheshire, CT 06410 Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Knights now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Windsor for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. Southington will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Cheshire falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Guilford (Guilford, CT) to battle the Grizzlies in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Guilford won 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)
