Maryland High School Baseball - Brunswick holds off Fort Hill
April 27, 2023: Cumberland, MD 21502 Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Brunswick upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Railroaders travel to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD) to battle the Wildcats in a CMC test on Monday, May 1. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-7. Williamsport lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)
With the defeat, Fort Hill falls to 2-9 on the season. The Sentinels host Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to battle the Campers in a Western Maryland test on Friday, May 5. The Campers come into the test with a record of 14-2.
