April 27, 2023: Woodbridge, CT 06525 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) and the visiting Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), saw Amity Regional's lacrosse team overcome Warde by a margin of 10-2.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams enter the Southern Connecticut challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Cheshire beat Guilford (Guilford, CT), 14-4, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks enter the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Newtown was overwhelmed by New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT), 9-2, in a league challenge.
