Illinois High School Lacrosse - Deerfield drops to Maine South
April 27, 2023: Deerfield, IL 60015 Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL), 11-6 in a league battle.
The Hawks now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hersey for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 29. Maine South will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 8-6.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 29. Deerfield will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 14-4 league loss to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
