April 27, 2023: Farmington, ME 04938 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), by a margin of 13-7.
With the triumph, Mt. Blue moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars host Poland (Poland, ME) to play the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, April 28. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Poland lost 7-1 in their recent league contest against Lake Region (Naples, ME)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a Class B South contest, on Friday, April 28. Erskine Academy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Shipbuilders come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 4-2 league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME).
