The Chippewa Valley Big Reds crushed the host Avondale Yellowjackets baseball team by a tally of 12-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Big Reds now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to L'Anse Creuse North for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 30. Chippewa Valley will face a Crusaders team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-10.
