Kentucky High School Baseball - West Jessamine holds off Conner
April 27, 2024: Nicholasville, KY 40356 West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY), 12-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Jessamine upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Colts host Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY) to battle the Broncos in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 15-7.
With the defeat, Conner falls to 11-15 on the season. The Cougars travel to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to battle the Colonels in a non-league test on Saturday, April 27. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 18-1. Covington Catholic won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY)
