April 27, 2024: St. Paul, MN 55116 The Simley Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Highland Park Scots to 5 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans (3-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN). The Cadets go into the Classic Suburban bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, St. Thomas Academy was tipped by Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
Next, the Scots face the Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN) in a St. Paul City bout, on Monday, April 29. Highland Park will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Governors enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Edison (Minneapolis, MN).
