Ohio High School Baseball - Northmont defeats Piqua
April 27, 2024: Clayton, OH 45315 Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH), 8-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northmont upgrades its record to 6-15 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH) to battle the Beavers in a Greater Western Ohio test on Monday, April 29. The Beavers come into the test with a record of 13-6. Beavercreek won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Butler (Vandalia, OH)
With the defeat, Piqua falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to face the Aviators in a Miami Valley League - Miami outing on Monday, April 29. The Aviators enter the outing with a record of 15-5. Butler lost 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH)
