Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Ward Melville drops to New Canaan
April 27, 2024: New Canaan, CT 06840 In Saturday's non-league test, the host New Canaan Rams lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-4 victory over the Ward Melville Patriots.
The Rams now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rye for a non-league test on Monday, April 29. New Canaan will face a Garnets squad coming off a 15-8 league win over Ursuline (New Rochelle, NY). The Garnets record now stands at 9-2.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Thursday, May 9. Ward Melville will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.
