Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Ludlowe drops to Iona Prep
April 27, 2024: Fairfield, CT 06824 Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT), 12-5 in a non-league battle.
The Gaels now have a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgefield for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Iona Prep will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Ludlowe drops to 8-4 on the season. The Falcons host Warde (Fairfield, CT) to play the Mustangs in a Fairfield County match on Saturday, May 4. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 8-2.
