New York High School Softball - Batavia bounces Madrid-Waddington
April 27, 2024: Batavia, NY 14020 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY) and the visiting Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets (Madrid, NY), witnessed Batavia's softball squad tip Madrid-Waddington by a count of 7-0.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Livonia for a non-league match on Monday, April 29.
With the loss, Madrid-Waddington moves to 3-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY) to face the Panthers in a Section 10 East match on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 2-5. Brushton-Moira lost 18-2 in their recent league match against St. Lawrence Central (Brasher Falls, NY)
